Faded Grandeur Accessories - The inspiration taken form frayed upholstery fabrics and decadent decoration continues from my garments into a collection of hand-held bags and purses. The simple envelope shapes provide a platform for the textile elements of felted lace, embroidery and embellishment to become the feature. Each bag and purse is totally unique in appearance, while the colours of vintage lace contrasted with bright plastics and metallic embellishments remain a theme throughout.
