Megan Hall

Megan has just recently completed a Degree in Contour Fashion at De Montfort University. In her Final Major Project, she specialised in Luxury Resort wear producing a collection of swimwear pieces with a variety of interesting and versatile cover-ups. Her initial inspiration came from Gaudi's work in Barcelona, in particular looking at the geometric shapes and intense colouration found inside the Sagrada Familia. Through her design development she has experimented with many different materials and techniques as evident in her final garments. I have used eyeletted leather as an embellishment detail to add texture and movement as well as fringing and contrasting mesh fabrics. Producing great fitting garments was imperative for my luxury market and throughout my three years I have learnt a great deal about how vital it is to produce exceptionally well fitting pieces. I would love to dive straight into industry, preferably in the Swimwear or Lingerie market.
